'STATION FRAMES' IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Where the expense of providing signal cabins was not warranted, open-air lever frames were often located near to the Station Building.
These 'Station Frames' often controlled or 'released' other 'frames' and were often worked by the Station Masters and or other qualified employee.
It is hoped that this list will be expanded to show as many as possible of these robust 'frames' that existed in Western Australia.

If you can supply any photographs or information of any kind on any of these Station Frames, the people who worked them, or any other signalling related stories, we would be most grateful to hear from you by means of the e-mail form on each of the Station Frame pages themselves. Due credit will be given to all verified sources.
Co-ordinates shown on the following pages are taken from a variety of readily available sources and are thought to be correct, but no guarantees are given or implied!
